Tips for picking and choosing woody plant material

These videos are about selecting large woody plant material, like from a nursery. The suggestions and information can be just as applicable for large shrubs, because a lot of those have similar branch structures and face similar problems. I won't get any film awards from these, but the tips are pretty solid advice. Recorded in southern Oregon with minimal editing. Saved originally at 320 width. Youtube boosted these to a grainy 425 width there, so I embedded them here at 320 pixels: smaller but a bit more clear. These two were about when I learned to record visual first and add voice soundtrack narration later. Close to 10 minutes each.
