2009 brought transformation to my landscape designer service, providing a handful of design drawings per year. The goal includes:

1. Referring most homeowners needing design work to other Landscape Designers who specialize in landscape design. There is a large directory at ANLD: Association of Northwest Landscape Designers.

2. Providing on-site tree consulting advice and skilled pruning to various Landscape Designers for their projects. Advice for all tree sizes, and pruning for small and medium size trees.

My work area is near Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, Sherwood, Wilsonville, Hillsboro and a few other Oregon cities. I am very willing to help landscape contractors too, in regards to trees or pruning: sharing pruning and tree care techniques.

The reason for change is not dislike of landscape design. Its because I enjoy pruning, tree care and problem solving more. The first nickname given to me in 1980 by co-workers, was 'The Master of Invention', stemming from providing solutions.

In Northwest Oregon, few arborists are trained and certified for landscaping. With a background in golf courses, pruning, design and landscaping, its practical for me to offer assistance and support to landscape designers in our area, while scaling back on drawing. My schedule is flexible. Looking forward to your call.
